Mechanical Vibrations

Mechanical vibrations is the study of free and forced response analysis of SDOF and multi degrees of freedom mechanical systems. The reader is expected to have prior knowledge of dynamics, the strength of materials, differential equations, and Laplace transform.

This topic includes the following resources and journeys:

Virtual Laboratory for Vibrations and Control Theory

Dr. Ayse Tekes is the supervisor of the project.
Virtual Lab

This virtual lab developed in Matlab Simscape provides an innovative tool for learning and teaching fundamentals of mechanical vibrations including mass-spring-damper systems.
